District Parent Advisory Council

Comox Valley District Parents Advisory Council (DPAC) is a collective voice of  Comox Valley Schools parents and guardians.
DPAC is comprised of up to two representatives from each district school PAC. DPAC council delegates are elected, appointed or otherwise selected by their PAC. The DPAC is also governed by an elected board of directors comprised of a chair, vice-chair, secretary, and treasurer.
For more information about our operating rules, guiding principles and objectives please refer to our Constitution and Bylaws.

Any parent or guardian with a child registered in a Comox Valley School is a member at large of the DPAC and is welcome to attend and participate in DPAC meetings. Parents and guardians also have the opportunity to sit on different Board of Education committees. A parent/guardian does not have to be a current DPAC executive or DPAC representative to participate on a committee. Parents and guardians are welcome to volunteer at any time by submitting their name, email address and phone number.
In general, meetings are held on the first Monday of each month while school is in session. Meetings start at 6:30 p.m. and are usually about 1.5 hrs long. The location of meetings changes each month. Please email us if you would like to know when our next meeting is.
