Supplies will be handed out to students the first week of school.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Please send payment of $25 per student to the school in\u00a0one\u00a0of the following ways<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>E-transfer<\/strong> \u2013 via \u2018arden@sd71.bc.ca\u2019.\u00a0 Please include your child(ren)\u2019s name(s) and reason for payment in the description. Please note that we are only able to accept e-transfers from larger banking institutions (not usually credit unions).\u00a0 We cannot accept e-transfers from any bank that requires a password to accept funds.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Cheque<\/strong> \u2013 made out to \u2018Arden Elementary\u2019.\u00a0 Please include your child(ren)\u2019s name(s) and reason for payment in the description<\/li>\n<li><strong>Cash<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Please include a note saying your child(ren)\u2019s name(s) and reason for payment.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>(We have several things being paid for at the beginning of the year, and so the explanation as a description will assure the payment goes to the correct item).<\/p>\n<p><strong>The only items you will need to supply are: backpack, lunch bag, water bottle and indoor shoes with non-marking soles.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<hr \/>\n<p class=\"xmsonormal\"><em>No student will be denied the opportunity to participate in a course and\/or activity associated with a course or specialty program in which they are enrolled because of financial hardship.<\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"xmsonormal\" style=\"margin-left: 54.0pt; text-indent: -36.0pt;\"><em>1.<span style=\"font-size: 7.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>Parents\/guardians and\/or students should contact the principal in order that confidential, respectful, and discreet arrangements can be made to ensure that a student is not denied an opportunity to participate in a course, program, or activity.<\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"xmsonormal\" style=\"margin-left: 54.0pt; text-indent: -36.0pt;\"><em>2.<span style=\"font-size: 7.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>Principals have a responsibility to ensure that students are not excluded from a course, class, program, or activity due to financial hardship.
