itemprop=\"text\" ><h1>School Volunteers and Volunteer Drivers<\/h1>\n<p><strong>PARENT\/GUARDIAN VOLUNTEERS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We love our volunteers and truly appreciate the time and energy they put into making school events happen!<\/p>\n<p>Any volunteer (for field trips, coaching, distributing hot lunch etc) needs to submit a <strong>recent Criminal Record Check.<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Criminal Record Check<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Visit the BC Government Ministry of Justice website\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/justice.gov.bc.ca\/criminalrecordcheck\">here<\/a><\/li>\n<li>School Access Code is: <strong>NKX74RY872<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Results are emailed to the school in 2-4 weeks.\u00a0 These are kept on file for 5 years<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>VOLUNTEER DRIVERS <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>**Please have all completed documentation sent to the office at least 2 days before a trip.**<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Drivers must ALSO complete the following steps:<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>To complete:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Obtain your Personal Driving Record:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Call\u00a0<a href=\"tel:1-800-950-1498\">1-800-950-1498<\/a> and provide the required information<\/li>\n<li>Request your driving record be emailed to\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:ccs@sd71.bc.ca\">ccs@sd71.bc.ca<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Alternatively, get your driving record\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/onlinebusiness.icbc.com\/clio\/\">here<\/a> and email it to <a href=\"mailto:ccs@sd71.bc.ca\">ccs@sd71.bc.ca<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong><u>Copies required:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Email a copy of your driver\u2019s license<\/strong> to\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:ccs@sd71.bc.ca\">ccs@sd71.bc.ca<\/a> or submit it to the office<\/li>\n<li><strong>Provide proof of vehicle insurance:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Insurance \u2013 both pages of ICBC registration showing at least $1,000,000 liability or ICBC + private insurance if you do not have $1,000,000 coverage through ICBC<\/li>\n<li>Email a copy of your insurance to\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:ccs@sd71.bc.ca\">ccs@sd71.bc.ca<\/a> or submit it to the office<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Policy requires that we do NOT keep driver information once the school year has ended (except the Criminal Record Check).\u00a0 Your documents will need to be <strong>renewed every school year, and after each insurance\/drivers license expiry date.\u00a0
