Emergency Preparedness Program
When emergency situations occur, our first priority is the safety of our students and staff. In order to provide an effective response to any school crisis, Comox Valley Schools has developed an Emergency Response Plan. The Plan works in conjunction with other local emergency plans because a school emergency could require the involvement of numerous agencies.
The following guide should be reviewed annually by parents and guardians in order to become familiar with our procedures and protocols. It’s important you understand the role you play in keeping students safe. During an emergency, schools should be considered one of the safest places in our communities.
