Nugwa’am Ahdaxu/Chettie. I am Musgamagw Dzwada’enuxw, and Nakwaxda’wx. I also have ties to England, Ireland, Scotland, and Mexico.  I was born and raised in the traditional territory of the Ligwilda’xw, E’iksan, and K’omoks (Campbell River). I am grateful to have been a guest in the traditional, unceded territory of the Pentlatch, E’iksan, Sahtloot, and Sasitla for the past 22 years with my husband and two children. I value a wholesome approach to education and advocate for equity for all students.
