I also have ancestral ties to England, Ireland, Scotland, and Mexico.\u00a0 I was born and raised in the traditional territory of the Ligwilda&#8217;xw, E&#8217;iksan, and K&#8217;omoks (Campbell River). I am grateful to have been a guest in the traditional, unceded territory of the P\u00e9nt\u0142atch, E&#8217;ik\u02b7s\u0259n,\u0160a\u0142u\u0142tx\u02b7 &amp; Sasitla for over two decades.
