A graduate of G.P. Vanier Secondary will be entering the Engineering program this fall with a $100,000 scholarship. Hailey Brears and James Fazeli-Sinaki are among two Canadian recipients of the Beedie Luminaries scholarship. Scholarships of up to $40,000 are given to promising B.C. students who have faced life challenges and adversity with determination and resilience. The grade 12 students are from Highland and Mark R. Tristan Rendell, a Grade 12 student at Vanier, was among only 72 students selected from over 6,000 applications, to be interviewed at Loran’s 2021 National Selection. Read more online.
