The intent of looking at both rights and responsibilities is to assist us in creating an inclusive and respectful culture which promotes participation and active citizenship in each unique learning community.<\/p>\n<table class=\"trr-table\" border=\"1\" width=\"100%\" cellspacing=\"0\" cellpadding=\"5\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td><strong>Privacy Rights<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I have the right to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Keep my personal information, including my image, private.<\/li>\n<li>Develop my identity and to share it in the way that I choose.<\/li>\n<li>Be assured that when I give my personal information it will be kept safe and only used in appropriate ways.<\/li>\n<li>Correct any of my personal information that is inaccurate.<\/li>\n<li>Have my personal information stored in Canada and nowhere else unless I choose for it to be.<\/li>\n<li>Protection, if I report something.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<td><strong>Privacy Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I have the responsibility to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Take responsibility for my choices and actions.<\/li>\n<li>Learn about and always be aware of the risks of sharing my personal information and images with others.<\/li>\n<li>Not take someone else&#8217;s identity (e.g. use another&#8217;s password).<\/li>\n<li>Not take pictures of others on school district property without their permission.<\/li>\n<li>Report inaccuracies in my personal information.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><strong>Copyright Rights<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I have the right to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Be known as the author of works that I have created.<\/li>\n<li>Use content, music, images, etc. for my personal and educational use.<\/li>\n<li>State how others will use works that I have created and own.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<td><strong>Copyright Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I have the responsibility to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Acknowledge and respect the ownership of others over their works.<\/li>\n<li>Respect the right of other authors to state how they want their works to be used.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><strong>Use and Access to Information Rights<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I have the right to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Learn, and communicate my learning.<\/li>\n<li>Create new works.<\/li>\n<li>Have an opinion and to express myself.<\/li>\n<li>Access and use district resources.<\/li>\n<li>Locate and share information.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<td><strong>Use and Access to Information Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I have the responsibility to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Seek out quality content and that will help me learn and\/or perform my duties.<\/li>\n<li>Use district resources for educational, school, and district related purposes (e.g. non\u2010profit).<\/li>\n<li>Use no more than my fair share of district resources.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><strong>Behaviour Rights<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I have the right to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Feel safe and be respected.<\/li>\n<li>Be protected from being hurt or mistreated in body or in mind.<\/li>\n<li>Choose who I will associate
