You will spend time in an assembly and your Teacher Advisory (like a homeroom).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Do we start classes on the first day? <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You will meet your TA teacher on <strong>Wednesday the 3<sup>th<\/sup><\/strong>, but regular classes do not start until <strong>Thursday<\/strong><strong>, September 4<sup>th<\/sup><\/strong>.\u00a0 Thursday will be a full day with a block order of\u00a0<b> TA HGFE (day 4 schedule)<\/b>\u00a0and will begin with your Teacher Advisory.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Where is my homeroom?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>At Isfeld, your homeroom is called your Teacher Advisory (TA)<strong>.\u00a0 <\/strong>TA groups will include students from all grades.\u00a0 You will find a list of TA assignments in the foyers near the front entrance and the gym when you get here on Wednesday.\u00a0 Please come a bit early to find your TA number and TA teacher\u2019s name.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How do I get my locker? Do I need my own lock?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The school will provide you with a lock,\u00a0 you do not need to bring one.\u00a0 You will get assigned your locker by your TA teacher on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What school supplies do I need?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Required supplies will vary by class and teacher.\u00a0 You will find out what you need from your teachers in the first week of class.\u00a0 It is a good idea to bring a binder, lined paper and a pen and pencil to your first few classes, you will need at least these types of supplies throughout the full school year so have an extra supply on hand either in your locker or at home.<\/p>\n<p><strong>When do I get my schedule?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You will be given your timetable in your TA after the assembly on Wednesday. There are occasionally food sales put on by the Lifeskills program (usually pizza on Monday, Wednesday &amp; Friday).\u00a0 There are sometimes bake sales or other food sales throughout the year.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Transit\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you take a transit bus to school, you can check routes and times <a href=\"https:\/\/bctransit.com\/comox-valley\/schedules-and-maps\">here<\/a>.
