No half-day rates. Failure of compliance will result in the user\u2019s rental privileges being suspended or revoked. Conduct and complete the <b><u>Pre-Trip section<\/u> of the 'Pre-Trip\/Post-Trip Inspection Form'<\/b> prior to driving the Activity Bus.<br><ul><li>A Pre-trip inspection is required for <b><u>every day<\/u><\/b> the bus is in use.<\/li><li>All trip form(s) must be kept in the Bus for the duration of the trip. Failure to comply can result in a Commercial Vehicle Safety & Enforcement (CVSE) fine.<\/li><\/ul>2. Conduct and complete the <b><u>Post-Trip section<\/u> of the 'Pre-Trip\/Post-Trip Inspection Form'<\/b> upon returning the bus to the Maintenance Bus Compound.\n<ul><li>If returning after-hours deposit form(s) in the mail slot on the exterior of the Maintenance\u2019s Automotive Shop.<\/li><\/ul>3. The Driver MUST report any damage(s) on the <b>'Pre-Trip\/Post-Trip Inspection Form'<\/b>. If accrued by the Driver and deemed appropriate, the School will be charged for repairs.  \n<ul><li>Extent of damages and\/or the failure to report may result in the Driver\u2019s bus privileges being revoked for a period and\/or indefinitely. Such determination is up to the discretion of the Operation\u2019s Department.<\/li><\/ul>4. Drivers are responsible for paying all fines as a result of use and are obligated to inform the Operation\u2019s Department upon issuance.<\/p><p>5. All toll bridge charges will be invoiced to School.<\/p><p>6. Buses are to be operated on paved roads ONLY.<\/p><p>7. Buses are <b>NOT<\/b> to be left outside of the Maintenance Bus Compound overnight unless apart of the approved overnight trip.<p>8. Aisles, exits, and emergency exits must be kept clear at ALL times.<\/p><p>9. The number of passengers carried cannot ever exceed the legal bus capacity.<\/p><p>10. All passengers must be seated and wearing a seat belt at all times.<\/p><p>11. Equipment and luggage must be securely stored.<\/p><p>12. ALL passengers must off-load from the bus while being refueled.<\/p><p>13. In the event of a bus <b>breakdown:<\/b><ul><li>Within the Comox Valley and during operating hours (M-F 7:40 AM to 4:00 PM) call the Operations Department @ 250-338-7475.<\/li><li>Outside the Comox Valley call the nearest repair facility.<\/li><\/ul>\n14. In the event of an <b>accident:<\/b> <ul><li>Follow emergency response procedures; and<\/li><li>Contact your School Principal ASAP who will advise the appropriate School District Officials.<\/li><\/ul>15. Bus MUST be refueled to a full tank on return.<ul><li>Failure to do so will result in the School being charged the refuel difference<\/li><\/ul>16. Interior of the bus MUST be wiped down, swept, mopped, and emptied of all garbage upon return.<ul><li>Failure to do so will result in a minimum $30.00 cleaning charge and additional if required.<\/li><\/ul><p>17. Drivers are to ensure all windows are closed and doors locked when the bus is left unattended and upon return to the Maintenance Bus Compound.<\/p><p>18. A $50 cancellation fee will be applied if the School fails to notify the Maintenance Department the rental is no longer required.<\/p><h3>The Driver has read, understands, and agrees to comply with
