It was great to see so many smiling faces around the school. The kids also seemed happy to be back! Thanks PAC for the coffee this morning. I appreciate all the introductions and hellos. I’ll be the guy outside in the black Hi-Vis vest. Please stop and say hello.
Breakfast Club and Lunch Anticipated to Begin September 15th: We are currently working with Community Schools and the district to get the programs up and running. Stay tuned for updates. School Supplies: The school has/is purchasing all necessary materials and families will be asked to pay their portion in September . Our Office staff has asked that we hold off on payment details until after the first week of school. K-grade 2 will be $40 and Grades 3-5 will be $50 please ask any staff member if you need financial support.

Understanding Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for Parents & Caregivers
Join Comox Valley Schools Inclusive Education and SD 71 DPAC for an important session to help parents and caregivers better understand Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
This session will provide families with tools and knowledge to support their children’s learning journeys.

Community Schools is in the process of organizing after school clubs. We will be starting up a new play club and are looking for parent volunteers to hang out and serve snacks. We hope to run the club twice a week from 2:30-4:00. Contact Shawn if you are interested in helping and hanging out. Please ensure that you have done a background check. Contact the school office for details regarding the Criminal Record Check process.
