Field trip to Courtenay Bowling/Gymnastics

Field Trip Itinerary: Visitor Centre and Bowling and Gymnastics 

• 7:45am Meet at Shingle Spit Ferry Terminal: Everyone boards the school bus  
• 8am: Ferry departs  
• 9am: Arrive on Vancouver Island 

• 9:20am: Arrive at Vancouver Island Visitor Centre on Small Road 
• 9:30 – 10:30: Snack and activities  
• 10:30: Depart to Courtenay  
• Group 1 – Bowling 11-12 and Gymnastics 12:45-1:45 
• Bus transfers students between activities 
• Group 2 – Gymnastics 11:15-12:15 and Bowling 12:30-1:30 

• 2:15 Depart for 3pm ferry back to Hornby 
• 4:10pm: Arrive at school for student pick-up 

Transportation: School Bus, BC Ferries  

Food: Snacks and lunch to be provided, please send a water bottle  

Clothing: Please send students in comfortable clothing (leggings/sweatpants), shoes will be provided by the Bowling alley please be sure your child knows their shoe size and has socks. 

Cost: $0 Transportation, lunch, snacks, and activities will be paid by the School 

There is not an alternate activity provided for non-participating students. All Hornby students and Teachers will be on the Field trip.
