I am Colleen Furlotte the Indigenous Support Worker for Valley View Elementary. My ancestry is Mi’kmaq from my father’s side in New Brunswick. I am originally from Southwestern Ontario but moved to Beautiful British Columbia in 1999. I have lived in several communities on Vancouver Island and settled in the Comox Valley in 2001 with my husband and daughter.
