Hello, my name is Megan. I am a proud Metis woman born and raised in Southern Ontario. I started working for School District 71 as an Indigenous Support Worker in 2022 until 2024. After a short move back to my home in Ontario, I moved back to the Comox Valley in November of 2025 and am so happy and excited to be back doing the job I love and feel so passionate about. A quote I live by is “Enjoy the little things in life, for one day you’ll look back and realize they were the big things”. In my free time you can find me making Macrame projects, painting, and enjoying walks on the beach. My heart is meant to be surrounded by the ocean, and I am so grateful to be back on this land, surrounded by so many incredible things and people. My goal as an Indigenous Support Worker is to work with purpose and intention, ensuring that all children feel safe, supported, and accepted.
