Hello, my name is Megan Samis. I am a proud French Metis woman, and I grew up in a small town in Ontario. I am a military spouse and myself and my partner were posted to the Comox Valley in 2021. I am incredibly grateful to be able to work, play and live on the unceded traditional territory of the Komoks First Nations. I have a massive love for animals, love to hike, camp, and explore the outdoors, I also enjoy macrame as a hobby which I love sharing with the children I work with. I am grateful for this opportunity to learn about myself, build a stronger connection with my culture and to support all the incredible children I work with every day.
