Tansi, hello. My name is Sally Sheehan, and I will be one of the Indigenous Support Workers at GP Vanier this year. I have just moved back to the Comox Valley after living in Port Coquitlam for the last four years working as an Indigenous Youth Worker. Before I moved to the mainland, I worked in Comox Valley School District in the Indigenous Department as an Indigenous Support Worker from 2011 –2020. I am so happy to be back home. I was born and raised in Campbell River. I am an Island girl!
I am Metis, German, and British. I learned about my indigenous side in my late 30’s and have been on a learning journey learning about my Metis ancestry.
I am looking forward to connecting with all the students and families.
