Our School Counsellors at Cumberland Community School are here to help! They have Bachelor of Education degrees and also hold Master’s Degrees in Counselling.

We provide many services to support all students and families including: 

  • Personal and mental health counselling
  • Small group counselling (Group topic based on need: ADHD, Anxiety, etc.)
  • Support for concerns around substance use
  • Family consultation and support – help for parents around their child’s wellbeing or social emotional needs at school
  • Referrals – help for students, parents, and families to find the resources they need in the community
  • Presentations – classroom and parent presentations
