take your kid to work day – gr 9

On November 3, 2021, all grade 9 students from Lake trail Community School and Cumberland Community School will be able to participate in “Take Our Kids to Work Day”. This day is designed to allow students to explore career pathways and gain insights into what skills, knowledge and competencies are needed for work and certain careers. On Nov. 3, parents can call their child’s school and submit an absence, stating that they, a family member, or close family friend, will be taking their child to work for the day. Students unable to join in at a place of work may have to opportunity to engage in workplace activities and virtual sessions at school.
