2026-27 Kindergarten Registration Opening Soon!

Queneesh Elementary offers two options for Kindergarten:

Neighbourhood Kindergarten and Montessori Kindergarten.

Neighbourhood Kindergarten

Registration Opens: Tuesday, January 20, 2026
Register online through the Comox Valley Schools Registration Page.
Families should upload their child’s birth certificate and proof of address during registration.
While most students will be accommodated at their catchment school, placement is not guaranteed and may be at the nearest school with space available.

Expression of Interest Opens: Tuesday, January 13
Closes: Friday, January 16 at 6:00 pm
Program entry is based on a lottery system, not first-come-first-served.
Complete the Expression of Interest form on the SD71 Registration Page.
Open House: January 8, 2026, from 6:00 – 7:00 pm at Queneesh Elementary.

Important Registration Information

All Kindergarten classes are full-day programs.
Children must turn five years old by December 31, 2026.
Required documents: Birth certificate and proof of address (BC Services Card is not accepted as proof of birth).
BC Personal Health Number (PHN) is required on the registration form.
