Orange Shirt Day

On Sept., 29th at Queneesh, we will be wearing Orange shirts in support of Orange Shirt Day.  

Orange Shirt Day this year is actually on Sept 30th, however, as that falls on a Saturday, we have chosen Sept 29th as Queneesh’s day to show support and continue to spread “awareness of the individual, family and community intergenerational impacts of Residential Schools.”  – https://orangeshirtday.org/

We are hope to see many of our families also choosing to wear orange on Sept., 29th to show support for many of our Queneesh, Comox Valley, and Canadian families affected by Residential Schools.
