Volunteer Drivers
How to become a Volunteer Driver for Cumberland Community School:
- Obtain your Driver Abstract:
- Call 1-800-950-1498 and provide the required information
- Request your abstract be emailed to ccs@sd71.bc.ca
- Alternatively, get your driving record here and email it to ccs@sd71.bc.ca
- Complete the Criminal Record Review Form:
- Visit the BC Government Ministry of Justice website here
- Follow the instructions on the website
- Enter access code NKX74RY872 when prompted
- Verify your information using your BC Services Card and its app
- Choose “Request a New Criminal Record Check” (first-time users) or “Share the result of a Completed Criminal Record Check” (previous users)
- Your CRC will be sent to Warren Colegrave (Principal) for processing
- Email a copy of your driver’s license to ccs@sd71.bc.ca or submit it to the office
- Provide proof of vehicle insurance:
- Ensure your vehicle has a minimum of $1,000,000 in third-party liability insurance
- Email a copy of your insurance to ccs@sd71.bc.ca or submit it to the office
