School Start Up Dates and Times – September 2025

Grades 1 – 6

• Wednesday, September 3rd – First HALF DAY back to school (8:25 am – 11:30 am). Buses will be running.
• Thursday, September 4th – First FULL DAY back to school (8:25 am – 2:25 pm)

Kindergarten – Gradual Entry

Group A

Wednesday September 3  (parents stay with students)

9:00-11:00 am – Both Group A and B students invited. Drop in at your leisure; open house for your new classroom.

You can drop into Ms. Peta’s class and stay with your child between the times of 9:00-11:00am and have a play and explore. Stay for as long or as little as you like for those two hours!

Thursday September 4

8:45-10:45 am – Group A only. Parents, you drop off and leave for the two hours.  Please pack a water bottle and snack for your child.

Friday September 5th

8:45- 10:45am – Group A only. Parents you drop off and leave for the two hours.  Please pack a water bottle and snack for your child.

Monday September 8th

8:25-2:15 – All students together for their first full day! Please send full lunch, snacks, change of clothing for school etc. 

***Students will attend full days starting Monday September 8, 2025!***

Group B

Wednesday September 3 (parents stay with students)

11:30-1:30pm – Group B only. Parents, you drop off and leave for the two hours.  Please feed your child lunch before you arrive and pack a water bottle and snack for your child.

Friday September 5th

11:30-1:30pm – Group B only. Parents you drop off and leave for the two hours.  Please feed your child lunch before you arrive and  pack a water bottle and snack for your child.

Monday September 8th

We will send another email in late August with this information again, and please keep an eye out for any emails that Ms. Peta (our Kindergarten teacher) may send in the week before school  begins.

If you’re unsure if your Kindergarten child is in Group A or Group B, please don’t hesitate to contact the school office at (250) 334-2161 during the last week of August.
