PARENT/GUARDIAN VOLUNTEERS

We love our volunteers and truly appreciate the time and energy they put into making school events happen!

Any volunteer (for field trips, coaching, distributing hot lunch, etc) needs to submit a recent Criminal Record Check.

  • Criminal Record Check
    • School Access Code is: ZFMLXA4NFX
    • Results are emailed to the school in 2-4 weeks.
    • Kept on file for 5 years

VOLUNTEER DRIVERS

Drivers must ALSO complete the following steps:

To complete:

  1. Volunteer Driver and Vehicle Driver Form (Volunteer Driver Form), signed and dated.  Note: number of students you can transport are the BACKSEAT ONLY.
  2. Obtain your “Personal Driving Record” using the following link:  https://onlinebusiness.icbc.com/clio/.  Please ensure you have ICBC send it to robbroad@sd71.bc.ca.

Copies required:

  1. Insurance (both pages of ICBC registration showing at least $1,000,000 liability OR ICBC + private insurance if you do not have $1,000,000 coverage through ICBC.)
  2. Copy of driver’s license.

Policy requires that we do NOT keep driver information once the school year has ended.  Your documents will need to be  renewed every school year, and after each insurance expiry date. Please visit the office to complete this at least 2 days before a trip.
