Parking
Please be considerate of the stop, drop, and go lane. One parked car can create a big headache and traffic jam. Please be a good neighbour. If you are parking off school property please respect our neighbours’ drive ways and make sure students are following road safety. Please click here for parking lot expectations and plan.
Wacky, Wheely Wednesdays
Will start up again this Wednesday, September 13th in the school parking lot. Students are invited to ride their bikes, scooters, skateboards, or rollerblades before school and during the morning recess. Supervision begins at 8:25 am and students must wear a helmet. A reminder that the school parking lot will be closed Wednesdays until 12:00 pm. WWW will continue every week until November.
Terry Fox Run. Our date is September 22 2023 at 1:10. A call for volunteers will come from Mr. Streit early next week. For now, please consider helping us raise much-needed funds for cancer research. If we raise $300 we will draw one student name to pie Mr. Burdett or Mr. Streit. If we raise $515 ($1 per student) we will draw 2 names and both Mr. Burdett and Mr. Streit get a pie. If we raise a $1000 we will have 4 pies and 4 students get the honor. All students will be entered in the draw this year and the pieing will take place right before the run. Cross-Country Running – Interested students from grades 3 to 7 are invited to join the Cross-Country running team for lunch recess practices. Races start September 27th at Puntledge. Races are always Wednesday afternoons and run to October 25th. Permission forms and more details will be out to those interested Thursday September 14.
