The 2025 Bursary/Scholarship Program will open on January 31st.

BC Excellence Scholarships worth $5000 each are awarded to 55 high school graduates who have demonstrated service and leadership, both at school and in their communities, and who show aptitude for and commitment to their chosen career or area of post-secondary study. Our school can nominate ONE graduating student for this scholarship. Submit your nomination package to the counselling office by 3:10 pm on Friday, January 24th, 2025.

To be considered please prepare a nomination package including:

  • cover letter addressed to the Vanier Administration team
  • a copy of your resume
  • 2 reference letters – one from school and one from a member of the community (coach, employer etc..)
  • a copy of your transcript.

Cmolik Foundation Scholarship: Are you a student graduating this year? Have you demonstrated a strong work ethic and tenacity in overcoming adversity and in achieving your goals? Every year, the Cmolik Foundation awards up to 20 scholarships in BC each with a maximum value of $45,000, paid over five years, to deserving students. Each high school can nominate one student as a candidate. Submit your nomination package to the counselling office by 3:10 pm on Friday, January 24th, 2025.

  • a cover letter (speaking to the adversities you have overcome) addressed to the Vanier Administration team
  • a copy of your resume
  • 2 reference letters – one from school and one from a member of the community (coach, employer etc..)

Schulich Leader Scholarships are the largest and most prestigious undergraduate STEM scholarships in Canada, with a value up to $120,000 per award. These scholarships are open to all Canadian High Schools with graduates planning to pursue STEM programs. Submit your nomination package to the counselling office by 3:10 pm on Friday, January 17th, 2025.

Schulich Scholarship Student Application Process – 

  • Cover letter address to the Vanier Administration team expressing why you should be selected
  • Resume outlining your in-school and extra-curricular experiences
  • Copy of your transcript
