Parent Volunteer Information:
Many of our activities would not be able to happen without the help of volunteers. Thank you for your support! Volunteers must complete a criminal record form prior to volunteering. Also, by submitting a CRC request you agree to abide by the code of conduct
Criminal Record Check
As per School District Policy 6031MR2 all volunteers will be asked to complete a Criminal Record Check before they are able to drive, volunteer in the classroom, or participate in field trips. If you are thinking about volunteering at the school, please take the time to complete the Criminal Record Check process early in the school year. Criminal Record Checks are valid for 5 years once complete and will remain on file at the school. We use the Criminal Records Review Program (CRRP) online service:

Hello, Bonjour, Gila’kasla
Congratulations to our Grade 7 girls’ and boys’ basketball teams, who were both crowned champions at their respective Final Four tournaments. Their hard work and dedication paid off as they played inspired basketball and demonstrated impressive resilience and sportsmanship.
Our school has been focusing on the core value of Respect. Be sure to check out the Respect bulletin board next to the library, featuring our bear paw theme and examples of how students are showing respect throughout our school community.

Our topic this month is Emotion Regulation. We will be watching a video together, where Nicole Allen, a Registered Clinical Counsellor will talk about emotion regulation and dysregulation, then having a discussion facilitated by myself and my colleague Cresslynn. We know how hard things like this can be to navigate for caregivers, and would love it if you could share this event with your colleagues, as well as any families that you know may benefit from it!
Please note that even if someone isn’t positive they can attend, registering ensures that they will receive copies of the resources presented to your email after the event, and you can register using this link. You can also find posters attached to this email to share.
