Welcome Grade 8 Students
Welcome to high school!
The Mark R. Isfeld school staff looks forward to welcoming you to your new school on Tuesday, September 7th at 9am.
Our grade eight students will be the only students in the building on Tuesday. This will provide time for our staff to take each student through an orientation including:
- Staff introductions
- Information regarding lockers, fees and forms
- Teacher advisor system
- Class schedules
- School tour
- Extra curricular opportunities
- Information on how to succeed at Mark Isfeld
To begin their day, we ask all grade eight students to head to the gymnasium upon arrival for an introduction assembly at 9am. TA lists will be posted on the windows in the gym area. Please check them on your way to the gym. From the assembly, students will meet their Teacher Advisor and be led to their Teacher Advisory group.
Lunch will be served for students at 11am followed by dismissal at noon.
Wednesday, September 8th will be a full day with all students in attendance and will begin with all students attending their Teacher Advisory group. A reminder all students are required to wear a mask at all times when indoors.
