Wednesday, May 1st

Please take a moment this week to look at and read the write ups for the Red Dress Day display set up in the main foyer, and the red dresses in the windows around the library learning commons. These are to raise awareness and honour murdered and missing Indigenous Two-Spirited, women, and girls across Canada.  We are acknowledging the day on Friday, May 3rd as the official day is on Sunday.  Please wear red and pick up a sticker from the main foyer on Friday morning.  This may be a trigger for some people, so please take care.  Our counsellors, Mr. Swanson and Ms. Dixon, our Youth and Family Program worker, Jason, and Indigenous Support workers, Kath and Luke are available for you to speak with if you are affected by this display/topic.

Congratulations to the junior boys rugby team for qualifying for the Island Rugby Championships. We eliminated Isfeld and Carihi High on the way to finishing 3rd in the North Island.
