- Looking to apply for work up Mt Washington this year? Well you are in luck, dust off your resumes and sharpen your interview skills because MT Washington hiring staff will be here today at lunch in the main hallways to take your applications and resumes. If you would like help to fix up your resume, please come to the careers office before then.
- (ACES) Homework Club today after school in room 125 from 3:20 – 4:20 pm.
- Attention Grads: Grad apparel is now available from the Highland online store. Please make your orders by OCTOBER 18th!!
- Grad reminder: The Loran Scholarship deadline is next Tuesday, Oct 15th, 2024. See Ms. Dixon in counselling if you have any questions.
- QSA – Highland’s Queers & Allies Club meets today at lunch in room 223.

- ADVANTAGE ARCHERY FIELD TRIP – All participants meet in the main foyer in front of the office at 11:15 today.
- The Creative Writing Club is starting up! We meet every Friday at lunch in room 116. Come to this chill environment where you can work on any project you like, write from prompts, share your ideas/writing if you want and meet like-minded folks. All are welcome! See Ms. Munro if you have any questions.
- Volunteers needed for the Strathcona Bears Hockey Tournament on Thanksgiving weekend Oct. 12-14. They are needing volunteers to run the time clock and score card for the tournament. For more information on how to volunteer come see the board in the careers office
- Any photographer interested in participating in the Incubator Photography program, see Ms. Munro. Incubator is a program that allows photographers to practice their craft with a mentor from the industry. A theme is given out and one photograph will be created and submitted. It’s a friendly, supportive environment that allows for all types of creativity.
- Photo retakes will be Thursday, October 24th.
- This Friday’s flex is Flex Day 4 – H G F Lunch E Flex.
