Thursday, January 16th
- Any grade 12 wishing to grad early, take a half-time schedule next semester, or take a spare, please come and see the counsellors or admin to look at your schedule this week.
- Grad Photo retakes are scheduled for January 30 & 31. Bookings are now open and the link was emailed out and can also be found on our website. This is the last opportunity for grad photos.
- Reminder to Grade 9’s: Immunization forms are due back today!.
- Hey grads! You nominated your ‘Most Likely to’ and ‘Best of’ Now its time to vote! Your AG teachers have received ‘ballots’ with your names on them. Please kindly fill them out them out and return to your AG teachers by Friday Jan 17th (tomorrow). Once we tally the votes, we will come take the winner’s pictures for the yearbook!
- International Students – we have our end of semester pizza lunch on Thursday January 23 at lunch in the multipurpose room; we will give out flags and certificates to the students who are leaving. If you are an international student going home at the end of Semester 1 and you will not be at school on January 23, please go to room 205 to let Ms. Brammall know ASAP.
- Correction to the door decorating contest. 2nd place goes to Mr. Bower’s class. Congrats!
- Intramurals are cancelled this week – they will be on again next week!
- (ACES) Homework Club today after school in room 125 from 3:20 – 4:20 pm.
- Senior improv is today afterschool due to absences on Monday.
- Today’s Ski and snowboard team meeting has been rescheduled to Friday at lunch in room 203.
- A quest a day keeps the ogres at bay. D&D Club meets again in Room 213 today from 3:30-5:00.
- Highland’s Queers & Allies club is meeting at lunch today in the Indigenous Gathering Space (next to room 117).
- The Cubing Club is happening today at lunch in the learning commons.
- Girls rugby meeting today. All new, returning and interested girls rugby players meet in room 225 at the start of lunch.
- Yearbook club is after school today.
- Max, Alana, and Parker are selling pizzas this Friday for Italy Exchange.
- The Creative Writing Club meet every Friday at lunch in room 116. All are welcome! See Ms. Munro if you have any questions.
- Blues Jam is in the Band Room at lunch on Friday. Bring your instrument, bring a friend, and feel free to play or just listen.
