*No FLEX on Friday. There will be regular HR block for Thursday and Friday this week and then the schedule will return to normal starting next week.
*Any girls wanting to play on the Sr. Girls Volleyball team this year, there is a MANDATORY meeting at the start of lunch in room 212 (blue house, top left). Don’t be late!
*Jr. and Sr. Girls Volleyball players, you will be having tryout practices on Monday, Sep. 14th at 3:30pm and Thursday Sep. 17th at 3:30pm in our gym. Please see Mr. McRae if you have any questions.
*Jr. Boys Volleyball players, you will be having your tryout practices Monday Sep. 14th at 5:00pm and Thursday Sep. 17th at 5:00pm in our gym. Please see Mr. McRae if you have any questions.
*Grade 8 boys and girls volleyball times are still to be determined but keep listening to the announcements.
*Cross Country season has started!! Everyone welcome, all abilities! Practices are Monday and Wednesday after school. Go to room 207 to meet Mrs. Sulek and sign up anytime.
*Congratulations to everyone who auditioned for this year’s musical. The call back list has been posted to the group and will be held on Friday September 18th.
See Mrs. Williams for Information about improv classes. Classes will start next week! First class Wednesday September 16th at Lunch.
There will be a brief mandatory schedule meeting for ALL CAST of Peter Pan Goes wrong Thursday at Lunch.
*Any International student who wishes to make a change to their courses must see Mr. Hale today at lunchtime or after school in Room 205. Please only make changes if you require certain courses that are not on your schedule.
*Reminder to all students that started a work experience last year to bring in your paperwork to the career’s office. The careers office is open Monday to Thursday.
*Students wishing to start on their volunteer hours and or those maybe interested in the health care field it is that time again…. Providence Living at the View retirement home is looking for their fall volunteers. This run Oct to the end of Jan. Once a week you go and volunteer with an event or special activity. Application packages are in the careers office. Deadline is Oct 5th.
*Youth Council Announcement – Are you 12-18 years old and looking to grow your confidence, leadership skills, and experience while making a difference in your community? Do you need volunteer hours and love helping create events and programs for youth? The LINC is looking for new members to join its Youth Council. *Haunted House Announcement – Are you over 12 years old and interested in spooky set design? Talented at horror makeup? Love to act? Or are you simply full of hauntingly good ideas? Come join us at the LINC Youth Center every Wednesday to help bring the LINC’s Annual Haunted House to life! Whether you’re interested in decorating, makeup, acting, special effects, or coming up with creepy ideas, there’s a place for you. Please contact the LINC for more info.
