BC Drama Teacher of the Year

Congratulations to Highland Secondary School Teacher Lisa Williams on receiving the BC Drama Teacher of the Year award from the Association of BC Drama Educators!

Lisa is a leader in the field of theater education in Canada. She fosters mentorship opportunities, hosts successful regional festivals with top-notch adjudicators and workshops, and elevates production standards with her exceptional creativity and design expertise. Lisa’s festival productions have earned numerous awards, and Highland Secondary frequently represents our region at festivals.

Furthermore, Lisa has consistently excelled with her junior and senior Improv teams. Her teams always perform well, including winning a national title in 2022. We are incredibly lucky to have Lisa teaching here in SD 71! Bravo Lisa!
