Grad “Class” Special Attire Needed

A grad clothing donation program, formerly known as the Cinderella/Prince Charming Project, is back again this year. Now known as Grad “Class” Special Attire. They are in need of men’s suits, shoes that are good condition and other clothing that is suitable for students to wear to grad.

The former community-run program aims to give all students the opportunity to wear a lightly worn gown or suit on graduation day without the burden of any financial challenges associated with purchasing a brand-new outfit or having one made for their milestone event.

Students from all Comox Valley Schools will be able to schedule an appointment for choosing and fitting an outfit. Appointments have been opened up until the last week before the holidays for now, and this window might be extended.

The Grad “Class” – Special Attire Project is operating out of Vanier Secondary on Headquarters, but is accessible for any graduating student throughout the District who may need an outfit

The school will continue to accept grad clothing and accessories, particularly clean dress shirts. Financial donations are also accepted to help offset costs to dry clean items.
