Women Explore the Trades

Location: Sandwick Technical School

Who: This event is open to any female students and students who identify as female.

What: Women Explore the Trades is a hands-on learning event where participants will work alongside professional females in various trades. The event aims to introduce participants to new trades, help them gain practical skills, and explore potential career pathways. The trades covered include Automotive, Carpentry, Baking, Electrical, Heavy Duty Mechanics, Horticulture, Plumbing, and Hairstyling.

Lunch: Lunch is included and will be catered by Live Kitchen.

Registration: To register, students can visit their Careers Office for an application or print one from the careers website. Completed applications should be returned to the Careers Office. A QR code is provided on the event poster for easy access to the registration site.
