Congratulations to our “Retirees” Class of 2021

The second annual care-a-van retirement drive-by convoyed the Valley. Senior leaders and trustees took to the streets in two separate vehicles to personally deliver retirement packages to each of our retirees in a COVID-safe celebration.

Vanier Grad awarded largest Canadian STEM scholarship

A graduate of G.P. Vanier Secondary will be entering the Engineering program this fall with a $100,000 scholarship. Theo Lemay was selected by the Vanier Bursary Committee for his outstanding academic achievements. This is the first Vanier nominee to win a Schulich Leader Scholarship. Read more online.

Two Valley graduates receive Beedie Luminaries Scholarship

Hailey Brears and James Fazeli-Sinaki are among two Canadian recipients of the Beedie Luminaries scholarship. Scholarships of up to $40,000 are given to promising B.C. students who have faced life challenges and adversity with determination and resilience. The grade 12 students are from Highland and Mark R.
