New provincial program to help students get moving

The Province , in partnership with BC Healthy Communities Society, has selected 11 schools to participate in a pilot project designed to increase the number of students using active transportation between home and school. Among the schools is Cumberland Community School thanks to the efforts of its Parent Advisory Council. Read more here!  

Students encourage community to Lift Each Other Up

Hornby Island students one step closer to new school
