Feedback now open for the proposed calendars for the next three school years
Comox Valley Schools is seeking feedback on the proposed school calendars for the next three school years: 2026-2027, 2027-2028 and 2028-2029.
These calendars focus on Instructional Days, Professional Development Days, Non-Instructional Days, Vacation periods, and Statutory Holidays and are not meant to address specific school related events.
The calendars must meet instructional hours set by the Ministry of Education and Child Care. The draft calendars were developed the calendar committee which includes representatives from Senior Leadership, the Comox Valley Principals and Vice-Principals Association (CVPVPA), the Comox District Teachers’ Association (CDTA), CUPE, the District Parent Advisory Council (DPAC), and a Trustee representative.
