Comox Valley Schools announces registration dates and expanded program options for the 2026-27 school year
Comox Valley Schools is advising families of important registration dates for kindergarten and other programs for the 2026-27 school year.
Families will notice expanded program options this year, including a new K/1 Indigenous Kindergarten at Aspen Park Elementary, an expanded ENTER Program now proposed for kindergarten to Grade 7, and an extended Pathways Learning Community (currently the Airport Primary Learning Community) growing to serve Kindergarten to Grade 5.
On Tuesday, January 13, 2026, Expressions of Interest for the following programs open:
- French Immersion (Ecole Robb Road and Ecole Puntledge Park)
- Montessori (Queneesh and Courtenay)
- K/1 Indigenous (Aspen Park and Ecole Punteldge Park)
- ENTER K-7 (Aspen Park)
- Pathways Learning Community K-5 (Airport)
Program entry is based on a lottery system, not first come, first served. Siblings of current students in these programs, and Indigenous students applying to the Indigenous K/1 receive priority if their expression of interest is submitted before January 16 ,2026.
Most students attend their local neighbourhood school and registration for kindergarten for the 2026/2027 school year begins on Tuesday, January 20, 2026.
The late-French Immersion program at Ecole Puntledge Park is for students entering Grade 6 and the Expression of Interest to apply is open from Monday, January 26 until Friday, January 30 at 6:00 p.m.
Registration for Compass and FAe Kindergarten will take place in February 2026. Families are encouraged to check the website for specific dates and details. Registration for all Navigate programs is completed online at www.navigatenides.com.

École Puntledge Park: Jan. 13, 5 to 6:15 p.m. - Montessori programs
Queneesh and Courtenay Elementary: Jan. 8, 6 to 7 p.m., at Queneesh Elementary - Pathways Learning Community (K to 5, Airport Elementary)
7, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., Airport Elementary - ENTER program (K to 7, Aspen Park Elementary)
7, 5 to 6 p.m., Aspen Park Elementary - Early French immersion
