SD71 has completed its first Equity Scan of Indigenous students, staff, families and communities.

The survey creation, data collection methodology and follow up action items were directed by the Community Led Equity Scanning Team; an all Indigenous group consisting of Hereditary Chiefs, K’omoks Chief and Council, Indigenous community leaders, the Indigenous Education Council, a trustee, school staff and students with First Nations, Inuit and Métis representation.
